The Novelizer app runs on your device, but uses our backend server to generate chapter content and host your novels in the cloud. In turn, our backend server uses OpenAI's API servers to do the actual AI text generation. OpenAI will likely retain some or all of the information you've entered about your novels, as well as generated chapter content, in order to troubleshoot problems and supervise their service. We may also use your novels to improve the Novelizer app.
